sorry!!!

I am really sorry it has taken me so long to get to this blog!!!  Don't know why....it just is what it is.

Well...the rain came - and came -- and came...we've had a lot of it.   But we haven't melted yet so I guess it is okay.

Thanksgiving came and went...as usual we gathered at Dian's....skyped  with Susie for a while but the c onnection was bad.....it was good to see her though...and the rest of her family!    Steve did not come down for the feast....they went up to Mt Vernon to Sherrie's brothers house... Brooke and her family came...those kids her's are most  likely the most precious kids on earth!!  I am so proud of her - as well as Greg...they are turning into great parents...

Prior to Thanksgiving,, the fish appeared in the river....there seemed to be more than last year.   They are pretty ugly by the time they get up to our river area...Now we have the ducks again...they seem to like the area we go down too when we want to feed them...This year I have counted 27 of them....mostly males...have counted 7 females...perhaps more will show up before mating season..
Lets hope so...we need more babies - even if they all seem to be killed by the time they are hathed...dont like that!

I still do not like not having a car - but I knowit is for the best...I just hate putting everyone out to get me places...and miss the opportunity to go places when the notion hits me!

I am busy knitting and crocheting for Christmas...have some items finished but many more to do....Kn owing that the recipients of these items sometimes read this blog...I won't say anything more....:-)

My computer is acting up today....I cannot get an arrow when I move the mouse into this part of my project...guess I will have to shut it down and allow it to fix itself....It is annoyning...

I have taken u p scrapbooking.    I have a friend in the buildins who has helped me a whole lot with these projects...I have completed a book about my life and now and now am working on one about the kids...It is fun but tiring...I have to make so many decisions  -  something I never have been good at....and what am I going todo with all the supplies left over after the 2nd book is finished?   Probably give them to my friend....She has completed 14 books and is working on another one.  She most likely won't want the stuff, since she has a ton already..

Well - this mouse  situation is annoying me no end!   I will quit now and try again in the few weeks.....
